Ron C. Dugan, CFA, CPA
President, GuideStone Capital Management

Ron Dugan joined GuideStone in August 2010 as Global Investment Strategist. In September 2013, Mr. Dugan was elected President of GuideStone Capital Management. As president, Mr. Dugan provides leadership and management oversight for the investment activities of GSCM. He is responsible for the vision and strategic planning of global investment management matters including the development of all investment strategies. He also continues to serve as a key investment strategy resource to the investment team for asset class research, asset allocation strategies, fund construction and investment manager research activities. He is a member of GuideStone’s Investment Strategy Group and GuideStone’s Committee on Socially Responsible Investing.

Prior to joining GuideStone, Mr. Dugan spent 10 years at Russell Investments in Tacoma, Washington as Managing Director, Equities. Mr. Dugan was responsible for portfolio managers and research analysts in the areas of global, non-U.S., emerging markets, public real estate and Canadian equities. Previously, he was at the Baptist Foundation of Texas where he was Chief Investment Officer, specializing in the management of endowment and planned giving assets. He also served as an investment officer and financial accountant at the Meadows Foundation. He began his career as a staff auditor at Price Waterhouse (now part of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP) in Dallas.

Mr. Dugan earned a master of science degree in finance from University of Texas at Dallas and a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Texas A&M University. He is a CFA charterholder and holds the Series 7 and 66 securities registrations. His professional affiliations include the CFA Institute, CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth, American Institute of CPAs and the Texas Society of CPAs.




Rodric E. Cummins, CFA
Sr. Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, GuideStone Capital Management

Rodric Cummins joined GuideStone in 1998 as Executive Officer, Investment Services. He is responsible for overseeing the investment management process of GSCM, a registered investment advisor providing advisory services to GuideStone and GuideStone Funds; as well as other investment advisory clients. He is a member of GuideStone’s Investment Strategy Group and chairs GuideStone’s Committee on Socially Responsible Investing.

Prior to joining GuideStone, Mr. Cummins spent 14 years at the Baptist Foundation of Texas where he was Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, specializing in the management of endowment and planned giving assets. He began his career as a financial analyst at Mobil Oil Company. He is a member of the National Society of Institutional Investment Professionals Texas Advisory Board.

Mr. Cummins earned his bachelor of business administration in finance with honors from Texas A&M University and is a CFA charterholder. His professional affiliations include the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth and the Dallas Chapter of the Society of Pension Professionals.




Matt L. Peden, CFA
Vice President and Investment Officer, GuideStone Capital Management

Mr. Peden joined GuideStone in 1996.  He is a principal colleague in the strategic planning of all investment management related matters for GuideStone Capital Management, including investment strategy and research.  He is responsible for portfolio management and fund construction, overseeing all fund managers and investment research activities.  He is a member of GuideStone’s Investment Strategy Group and GuideStone’s Committee on Socially Responsible Investing.

Prior to coming to GuideStone, Mr. Peden was an Assistant Vice President in the Fixed Income Department at Southwest Securities Inc. in Dallas.  Prior to working at Southwest Securities, he worked as an analyst at First Interstate Bank (now Wells Fargo).

Mr. Peden earned his bachelor of business administration in finance from the University of North Texas after which he earned his master of business administration with honors from Texas Christian University.  He is a CFA charterholder, a past President of the CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth and a member of the CFA Institute.




Ron W. Bass
Chief Compliance Officer, GuideStone Capital Management

Ron W. Bass was appointed as the Chief Compliance Officer (“CCO”) of GuideStone Funds in May 2009 and CCO of GuideStone Capital Management in September 2013. He is also currently serving as the CCO for GuideStone Financial Services and GuideStone Advisors.

His previous duties with GSCM included serving as a Compliance Specialist and a Marketing Compliance Manager. Mr. Bass joined GuideStone in 2004. Mr. Bass earned a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He holds the Series 7, 24 and 63 securities registrations as well as the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional designation (“IACCP®”).
